The Maintenance Mechanic will perform a variety of preventative, routine and emergency tasks for the upkeep and sustaining of plant machinery and infrastructure used to produce high performance pigments. Support production facility that runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet customer demands. Maintenance mechanics will follow all work instructions, equipment procedures, quality standards, general maintenance standards and safety rules and regulations.
Maintenance Mechanics will safely maintain equipment, machinery and infrastructure required to satisfy customer requirements.
WORK EVIRONMENT
Industrial Chemical Manufacturing. Acid protective clothing, eye protection, hearing protection, hazardous dust mask, and full-face air purification mask will be required as needed.

POSTITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. 24-hour coverage will be mandatory for a 7-day period on a rotational basis. Overtime will be required as needed.
REQUIRED - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 5 years or equivalent experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
PREFERRED – Technical School graduate degree / certification.
